Edward Lafayette Jones, Sr., age 83, of Newton, Georgia passed on February 20, 2024. His remains are being cremated. He is survived by his only daughter, Clara D. Purvis: five grandchildren, eight great grands and one great, great grandchild and a brother, Douglas MacArthur Jones as well as a host of other relatives.
